Monday Motivation

I feel like the majority of this blog is food related so I wanted to mix things up a little. Instead of doing Monday Munchies every Monday, I thought it would be fun to do it every other Monday with a little Monday Motivation in between (have I said Monday enough?).

Everyone could use a little motivation every once in a while, including myself. In fact, what motivates me to get up off the couch and exercise every day is my family. I've found that exercising with others helps motivate me and helps me have more fun. So, not only am I getting fit, but my family is as well.

Find what motivates you and go for it! For some people it may be a sweet treat to reward themselves for working hard all week, or working out with friends, or maybe even playing their favorite music while they clean the house. Whatever it is, have fun with it!

Invite a friend to go to the gym with you. Plan to exercise every other day and bake cookies on Saturday as a reward.

Today I am encouraging you to just be happy and positive. Your day can go so much more smoothly if you wake up ready to be happy and positive about the day ahead. Face things head-on and don't shy away from difficult situations. You can do it! True contentment can only be found in being peaceful about yourself and the world around you.

Have a wonderful day,

Amanda
