The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer...

...is singing loud for all to hear!

But...today we are going to talk about other ways to spread Christmas cheer to those around you. Every year at this time, people are spreading love, peace, and Christmas spirit. Here are some of the best ways to spread Christmas cheer (other than singing of course).

  • Smile at everyone you pass. This simple gift can brighten someone's day more than you know even if they don't respond with a smile of their own.

  • Give the gift of friendship. Everyone could use a friend, especially during this time of year. Try making a new friend this year and make sure you are there for the friends you have. Being noticed and loved is one of the best ways to be a friend.

  • Volunteer somewhere in order to give back. It's easy to get caught up in the blessings that have come our way and keep them to ourselves. Sharing these blessings in order to bless another who is in need, is the greatest gift of all. Volunteer your time so that others may feel loved and cared for.

  • Give to shelters. Playing off of the last idea, giving food, clothing, or even a conversation could help brighten the days of people in need. Homeless shelters could use a little Christmas cheer and love.

  • Bake cookies for police officers and fire fighters. These heros make our towns safer and deserve a little love for Christmas. This also gives you the chance to thank them for their service. Who doesn't love getting warm, fresh-baked cookies?

How do you spread Christmas cheer?

What is your favorite way to give back to your community?

I hope everyone is having a beautiful and blessed holiday season filled with love, peace, and joy. Don't forget to share this love, peace, and joy with others, not only during the Christmas season, but throughout the year.

Until next time,

Amanda
